Home and School Association Report
All parents of children at St.
Paul the Apostle are members ofSt. Paul's Home and School Association. Board members,
committee chairs, teacher representatives, and the principal meet monthly to plan, organize, and
report on our various fun and fundraising events. 2004-2005 activities included the following:
- Panther Perks On-going fundraiserwith an annual profit of approximately $10,000
- Magazine Sale Sales of magazine subscriptions and renewals with a profit of $14,000
- Winter Adult Social and Auction Featured a live auction of classroom gifts and many silent auction items with a profit of$23,000
- St. Paul's Shootout Thanksgiving basketball tournament hosted by our school with a profit of$10,000
- Breakfast with St. Nick Fun beginning to the holiday season with children's crafts, musical entertainment, and Santa, with a profit of$1,400
- St. Pat's Fun Night Games, crafts, raffles, entertainment and food with a holiday theme, with a profit of almost $4,000
- Longaberger/Pampered Chef Bingo Night New this year, held in the fall and raising over $2,000, with another bingo night being planned for May
- Box tops for education and Campbell's soup labels Small moneymaking programs occurring throughout the school year
- Monthly newsletter and annual calendar Enhances communication within the school community
- Volunteer coordinators Compiles lists of the many parents that volunteer to help as room parents and in other events during the school year
- Hospitality committee Provides hospitality services such as food and drink for many events during the year and takes care of gifts and cards on behalf of Home and School
- Family Fun Organizes fun family events such as the Halloween party and roller-skating
- Spruce Up the School Parents volunteer to spend a morning cleaning the school
- Registration Past president coordinates the school registration process in August

The Home and School Association has an annual financial commitment to the school of approximately $30,000 to help supplement our school programs. Successful fundraising has allowed us to make many improvements to our classrooms and facilities.
The board would like to thank all of the Home and School chairs and volunteers for their support and commitment to St. Paul's School!
