Each year, St. Paul the Apostle School must submit an annual report to the State of Iowa indicating student achievement in grades 4 and 8. Below are graphs of the percentage of students in grades 4 and 8, in the fall of 2008 who meet or exceed the State of Iowa standard (above 40th percentile) in Reading and Mathematics based on ITBS National Percentile Ranking. It's clear to see that our students are exceeding these requirements and their public school peers. |

ITBS Analysis Overall our test scores continue to improve in both the national and Iowa comparisons. Our current year scores beat our seven-year averages for both grade equivalencies in national and Iowa categories. Also, when looking at our proficiency levels in grades 3-8, we find the percentage of students not proficient is decreasing, which makes sense since our goals and item analysis have focused on moving students from the intermediate performance category to the high performance category. |
