Scholarship Opportunities

The St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School and Parish family is proud to offer a number of scholarships that recognize and reward student service to their church and community, as well as academic achievement. Through the generosity of many families and individuals, and for those who have committed to living a Stewardship Way of Life, a variety of scholarship opportunities are available at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School.

The St. Paul the Apostle Stewardship Covenant Scholarships

For the past seven years, our parish community has been advocating a Stewardship Way of Life. Our families utilizing our educational ministries have been asked to make a Stewardship Covenant with their parish.  Leading a stewardship way of life is a commitment to make God number one in our lives, while generously giving of our time, talent, and treasure to our parish community.  It calls us to be active members in our parish family, attend Mass regularly as a family in the parish church, and work towards a three-way sacrificial giving plan – one portion to church, one portion to educational ministries, and one portion to diocesan ministries.

Families who have reached a sacrificial giving level of either 5% or 8% of their annual income, as based on Line 22 of their Federal Tax Form 1040, may be eligible for a Stewardship Covenant Scholarship. For families giving at the 5% level, there are no fees for Religious Education, half-tuition assistance for students at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School, and quarter-tuition assistance for students at Assumption High School. For families giving at the 8% level, there are no tuition charges for any of our educational ministries, including Religious Education, St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School, and Assumption High School. Applications must be received in the church office prior to May 1, and an interview will follow to ensure families fully understand this program.
